Walailak University organized the WU Innovation SDGs plus 2026 event, a presentation of innovative projects and work development processes within Walailak University for the fiscal year 2026. The event was held from August 25-27, 2026, with Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, presiding over the opening ceremony, along with the executive committee and staff.
Today, at 10:00 AM, the Smart Farm and Landscape Architecture Center presented an innovative project on the topic of “Salak Fruit Tying to Improve Fruit Quality and Prevent Spoilage.” This problem often occurs during the rainy season, where some fruit clusters may come into contact with the ground and waterlogging, resulting in substandard fruit. The tying of the fruit ensures it meets quality standards and is free from toxins.
