On April 8, 2026, Walailak University held the “Walailak Songkran Festival: Preserving Traditions 2026.” Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, presided over the opening ceremony. Various departments participated in the event, and the Smart Farm Center provided shaved ice for all attendees at the Architecture and Design Laboratory Building, Walailak University.
