On March 27, 2026, the Smart Farm and Landscape Architecture Center participated in a merit-making ceremony celebrating the 34th anniversary of Walailak University. Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, and Mr. Teerachai Chemnasiri, Chairman of the University Council, presided over the ceremony, offering rice and dried food to Buddhist monks. Following this, religious ceremonies were held for Islam, Christianity, and Buddhism. After the religious ceremonies, President Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong gave a welcoming speech, emphasizing the university’s commitment to becoming a world-class institution.
